Here is the latest painting for the Journey of the In-Between series! This piece actually comes BEFORE the last painting I finished in my Journey of the In-Between series (I'm painting them as they come in inspiration, not in order). This painting is about the first stage of the bardo you enter after death. All the familiar features of the world we know melt into a landscape of luminous, colorful light. The colors are a natural representation of the elemental qualities of the mind and are, in fact, just a reflection of that mind.

I like to think my experience of my mind after death will AT LEAST be as colorful as my paintings! I love the colors in this piece. It was really fun to paint! What do you think?
