This piece is inspired by my niece Charlotte, who recently got into a car accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down. I’ve titled this piece “I Once Was Broken.”
Charlotte, you may feel broken now, but you are being reborn into another version of yourself that is just as beautiful. Love you kiddo!
