Calwood Education Center is a 6,000-acre environmental education center located west of Boulder, CO. Cal-Wood's mission is to offer a unique outdoor educational experience to youth and adults.

Cal-Wood’s founding vision has guided their organization for 38 years: to inspire a greater appreciation for the natural world; to offer environmental education to those who would not otherwise experience it, and to provide unique educational opportunities in a special mountain setting.

In 2020 Calwood was burned in a wildfire. This bench, along with several others, will be displayed in Chautauqua Park in Boulder, CO from September 10- October 17, then will be auctioned to the highest bidder! Funds raised will be used to support wildfire recovery efforts for Calwood. Two of my kids have spent time at Calwood. I was so happy to be selected for this project!
